To use RCBC Tap-to-Phone, your device must meet the following requirements:
- NFC capability
- Android Operating System version 11.0 or higher

What payment methods can be accepted through RCBC Tap-to-Phone?
You can accept straight payments from Visa and Mastercard credit, debit, and prepaid cards, issued both locally and abroad.
Can I integrate RCBC Tap-to-Phone with my existing POS Terminal?
Currently, RCBC Tap-to-Phone operates independently and cannot be integrated with a POS terminal.

Is there a fee?
There are no setup fees or monthly rental fees for using RCBC Tap-to-Phone. However, merchants will be charged a standard fee of 3% per transaction as the Merchant Discount Rate, and they are required to meet a monthly sales quota of ₱50,000.
How long is the application process?
The processing time of complete applications takes around 3-5 banking days.
How will I receive payments from my RCBC Tap-to-Phone sales transactions, and how long will it take?
Sales transactions will be credited to your RCBC bank account the next banking day for weekday transactions. For weekend transactions, it takes up to 2 banking days. Transactions to non-RCBC bank accounts will be processed through PESONET.
Do I need to be an RCBC-accredited merchant to activate RCBC Tap-to-Phone?
Yes, you must be an RCBC-accredited merchant to accept RCBC Tap-to-Phone payments. If you are not yet accredited, please reach out to merchantsupport@rcbcbankard.com, and we'll guide you through the process.
