Upcoming Changes to PAGSS International Lounge Access Benefit


Please be informed about the upcoming changes to the lounge access benefit for the PAGSS International Lounge in NAIA Terminals 1 & 3, effective March 1, 2025.

UNLIMITED FREE ACCESS for the Principal Cardholder

One companion can access the lounge subject to a fee of ₱1,500 to be charged to the Principal cardholder's RCBC Credit Card at the time of visit. This fee will be automatically reversed subject to a minimum overseas spend of ₱35,000 using the applicable RCBC Credit Card within 30 calendar days from the lounge visit. Please note that any additional companions will incur the full fee charged by PAGSS and will not be eligible for any reversal.

₱1,500/visit for the Principal Cardholder

Principal cardholders of these cards can access PAGSS international lounges subject to a fee of ₱1,500 to be charged to the RCBC Credit Card at the time of visit. This fee can be reversed by meeting a minimum single-receipt or accumulated overseas spend of ₱35,000 within 30 calendar days from lounge access date. 1.  Which RCBC cardholders are eligible for unlimited complimentary lounge access?Principal cardholders of the following RCBC credit cards enjoy unlimited complimentary access to PAGSS international lounges:

- RCBC World Mastercard (including Hexagon Priority, Balesin & The City Club)
- RCBC Visa Infinite
- RCBC Visa Platinum
- RCBC Mastercard Platinum
- RCBC JCB Platinum
- RCBC UPI Diamond

2.  Can guests access the lounge for free with RCBC cards?
Yes, guest access policies vary by card type:

RCBC World Mastercard, Visa Infinite, and Visa Platinum:
A principal cardholder may bring one guest (i.e., a travel companion) per visit on a complimentary basis. The lounge will charge an access fee of ₱1,500 per person for additional guests. These fees will not be eligible for waivers. 

RCBC Mastercard Platinum, JCB Platinum, and UPI Diamond:
A principal cardholder can bring one guest (i.e., a travel companion) for an access fee of ₱1,500. This fee will be waived if the principal cardholder makes a minimum cross-border spend of at least ₱35,000 within 30 calendar days from the lounge visit. The lounge will charge an access fee of ₱1,500 per person for any additional guests. These fees will not be eligible for waivers.

3.  Are cardholders of RCBC Gold, Classic, and Co-branded Cards eligible for lounge access?
Yes, Principal cardholders of RCBC Gold, Classic, and Co-branded Cards (AirAsia, Landmark Anson's, and ZALORA) can access PAGSS international lounges for a fee of ₱1,500 per visit.

4.  How does the waiver process work?
The waiver policies vary by card type:

RCBC Mastercard Platinum, JCB Platinum, and UPI Diamond:
- The waiver is automatic. Cardholders do not need to call or request the waiver.
- If eligible, the lounge access fee will be posted, reversed, and reflected on the cardholder’s statement of account within 75 days from the lounge access date.
- If the required ₱35,000 cross-border spend is not met within the specified timeframe (30 days for premium guests), the lounge access fee will not be waived and will remain charged to your account.

RCBC Gold, Classic, and Co-branded Cards:
- This fee can be reversed by meeting a minimum single-receipt or accumulated overseas spend of ₱35,000 within 30 calendar days from lounge access date. Call RCBC Customer Service at (02) 8888-1-888 to request a waiver.
- If the required cross-border spend is not met within the specified timeframe, the lounge access fee will not be waived and will remain charged to your account.

5.  What is considered a “cross-border spend”?
Cross-border or overseas spend refers to transactions made outside the Philippines or with international merchants, including online purchases billed in foreign currency.

6.  Where can I find PAGSS lounges?
PAGSS international lounges are located at the NAIA Terminals 1 & 3 in the Philippines.

7. Can supplementary cardholders access lounges under this program?
No, the complimentary and discounted lounge access privileges are exclusive to Principal cardholders.

8.  How can I confirm my eligibility or check if I met the spending requirement?

For Platinum Cards: There's no need to call, as the system automatically tracks your qualified spending period allowance.

9.  How long does it take for the lounge access fee to be charged or reversed?

For guest access fees: The access fee will be charged to the card of the principal cardholder at the time of lounge access and will be reflected on the cardholder's statement of account in the next billing cycle.

For fee reversals: The ₱1,500 lounge access fee will be reversed within 30-45 days after the spending requirement is met and the reversal request is submitted.
