PROMO MECHANICS

ELIGIBILITY

1. The Trip to Paris 2024 (“The Promo”) is open to RCBC Premium Visa Credit Cardholders (“The Cardholder”) who are recipients of the promo mailer indicating a Unique Promo ID that represents their RCBC Visa Card account in the Promotion.
   The Cardholder may opt to be excluded from the Promotion by calling the RCBC Customer Service hotline at (02) 8888-1883 or sending an email to email@service.rcbcbankard.com.
2. Promo runs from December 1, 2023 to February 29, 2024 (“Promo Period”). All transactions must be made during the promo period to qualify for the promo. Deadline for earning entries is on 11:59PM of February 29, 2024. Determination of winner will be on March 7, 2024 at 3pm via google meet.
3. The Cardholder with the highest spend (1 winner) from qualified retail transactions during the Promo Period will win the Olympic Games Paris 2024 Experience Package (“The Prize”),
4. Qualified transactions for this promo are as follows:

• Online, POS-Based, International, Domestic, Straight or 0% Installment Transactions

5. The following transactions are excluded from the promo:

• RCBC Credit Cards Installment Program availments such as but are not limited to Balance Conversion/ Purchase Conversion, Cash Advance, CHARGE, Balance Transfer, Cash Loan, YourCash! / Monthly amortizations from installment transactions or installment plan availment
• UNLIPAY transactions
• Transactions from Casino/Gambling, Money Transfers, Quasi Cash, Member Financial Financial Institution, Political Organizations, Bail, Bond Payment, Wholesale & Distribution, Multi-level Marketing/Networking, MOTO (e.g., Fern, Amway, UNO, Herbalife, UHS/USANA, Suy Sing, Dyna Drug, Young Living, and the like.)
• Remittance, Payment Services, Online Aggregators, POI Funding Transactions, & Mobile payment/mobile wallet (e.g., GCash, Lazada Top-Up, PayMaya, Grab/GrabPay, PayPal, PayMongo, Coins.ph, and the like)
• Transactions with the following bearing the following merchant category codes: 4829, 6050, 6051, 6211, 6532, 6533, 6536, 6537, 6538, 6540, 6760, 8651, 9211, 9222, 9223, 9411,7995

• Payments made to social media platforms, cloud service and software providers; transactions for business purpose.
• Subsequently cancelled or refunded transactions
  RCBC Credit Card is dependent on the merchant category classifications assigned by acquiring banks of each merchant establishment to be able to identify qualified transactions, but RCBC Bankard Services Corp. has the sole discretion to determine whether a transaction is classified for this promo

6. Transactions made by the Supplementary cardholder are qualified as part of the Primary cardholder’s spend.

7. The qualified cardholders will be receiving an SMS informing their rank and total spend.

8. RCBC Bankard Services Corporation (“RCBC Credit Cards”) will determine the Top Spender (“The Winner”) based on cumulative spend during the Promo Period.
9. The Winner will win the Olympic Games Paris 2024 Experience Package for 2 (“The Prize”), courtesy of Visa, which is inclusive of the following:

1. Round-trip business class airfare from Manila to Paris
2. 5D4N stay accommodations at a 4-star hotel or higher
3. A pair of event tickets to the closing ceremony of Paris 2024
4. Preloaded Visa card with USD200 pocket money
5. Exclusive limited-edition premium merchandise

10. The Winner and his/her companion must have an active passport with at least 6 months validity from August 15, 2024.
11. Flights terms and conditions:

1. All flights are non-changeable non-refundable, and non-transferrable once ticketed.
2. Flights shall be delivered by international carriers/airlines as available.
3. Only the cost of flights is covered.
4. The dates of the flights shall be determined by RCBC and Visa. No rebooking or change of dates beyond the 5D4N package will be accommodated. All flights are non-changeable non-refundable, and non-transferrable once ticketed. The winner should travel from August 9 to 13, 2024 in time for the Olympic Games Paris 2024 closing ceremony.
5. Excludes other costs related to travel such as passport/travel visa processing, room incidentals, travel insurance, additional baggage costs beyond allocated baggage weight, terminal fees, and incidental expenses while in transit, etc.
6. All other ancillary costs, except those stated above, incurred by the Winner will be the responsibility of the Winner.
7. Details of the guests must be provided at least 40 days before the outbound flight departure date and cannot be amended thereafter.

5. The Prize is transferable but not convertible to cash and cannot be replaced with other items/services. Visa reserves the right to replace any of the prize values with equivalent alternatives in the event of lack of availability, e.g. of 4-star hotel availability.
6. The 20% withholding tax for prizes exceeding ₱10,000.00 shall be shouldered by RCBC.

14. The Winner will be notified by RCBC via registered mail & registered e-mail within two (2) weeks from the draw date. He/she will be given a maximum of sixty (60) days to acknowledge the message sent by RCBC. Failure to do so will mean forfeiture of the prize and RCBC reserves the right to award another winner, with the concurrence of DTI-FTEB.
15. The Winner will be announced and posted on RCBC Credit’s official website, social media pages, LED billboard and/or electronic direct mail.
16. Winner must provide their Tax Identification Number (TIN) and a valid government-issued ID to be sent to RCBC Credit Cards via email: email@service.rcbcbankard.com. The winner must also sign and submit the Quit Claim upon claiming of the prize.
17. In the event the winner remains uncontacted via SMS or video call after 60 days from receipt of notification or doesn’t meet any of the requirements stated above, RCBC Credit Cards reserves the right to select another winner/top spender with approval from DTI.
18. To claim the prize, Winner must present one (1) valid government ID and his/her valid RCBC Visa credit card.
19. In relation to the promo, RCBC Credit Cards might request a photo of the winner showcasing/ enjoying the usage of his/her RCBC Credit Card. Names and photos of the winners will be announced and may be published in leading newspapers and posted on RCBC Credit Cards’ official website, social media pages, LED billboard and/or electronic direct mailer. By claiming the prizes, the winner grants RCBC and Visa the exclusive permission to use and disclose personal information and photographs and videos in connection with this promotion for marketing purposes and waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration for such use on TV, Radio, Website, or social media pages.

20. All employees of RCBC, RBSC, Visa Worldwide Pte. Limited, and their relatives up to the second degree of affinity or consanguinity are disqualified from joining this promo.
21. RCBC Credit Cards/ RCBC Bankard Services Corp hold the right to certify whether or not a winning cardholder is an eligible cardholder and his/her account satisfies the criteria set in the promo mechanics.
22. RCBC Credit Cards/ RCBC Bankard Services Corp, in concurrence with DTI rules and regulations, regarding this promo will be deemed final and non-negotiable.
23. The promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of RCBC Credit Cards.
