PROMO MECHANICS

  1. The Welcome Gift promo is open to new-to-RCBC Credit Card applicants who applied within the promo period and subsequently got approved of an RCBC Visa Platinum from August 1 to September 30, 2024.
  2. Qualified RCBC Credit Card holders must make a single-receipt or accumulated spend anywhere using their new RCBC Visa Platinum Credit Card within 60 days from receipt of card.

  1. Transactions made by the Supplementary cardholder will be qualified as part of the Primary cardholder’s spend.
  2. All posted retail and installment transactions in pesos and in other currencies are qualified for the promo including online transactions, mail & telephone orders and recurring payments.
    The following transactions are excluded from the promo: Unlipay, Cash Advance, Balance/Purchase Conversion, YourCash, Cash Loan, Balance Transfer, Money Transfer and Quasi-Cash, Casino/Gambling, Political organizations, Bail, Bond Payment, Wholesale & Distribution, Multi-level Marketing (e.g. 1BRO Global, USANA, Frontrow, UNO, Suy Sing, Doterra, Herbalife, Alliance, First Vita, Young Living). Transactions with the following Merchant Category Codes (“MCC”) are also not qualified.
  3. Upon meeting the required spend, the qualified cardholder must fill out the redemption form until January 31, 2025, at https://cloud.marketing.rcbcbankard.com/welcomevisa to avail of the Welcome Gift and input the following:
      • Card Embossed Name
      • Last 4 digits of your Card
  1. Qualified cardholder’s account must be active and current at the time of registration.
  2. Qualified cardholders who have met the required spend amount and who have successfully filled out the redemption form will receive a confirmation SMS or eDM to be sent to their registered mobile no. and email add based on the schedule below:

  1. The cardholder can only avail of the offer and receive a Welcome Gift once for the duration of the promo.
  2. The cardholder will be charged the cost of the Welcome Gift if he/she cancels the qualifying purchase and/or if the credit card transaction or redemption is found to be fraudulent and if he/she has registered for the promo and cancels the welcome gift.
  3. The cardholder agrees not to cancel his/her RCBC Credit Card within 24 months from its issue date. In addition, by redeeming the welcome gift, the cardholder agrees to pay the full amount of the Annual Membership Fee. If the cardholder requests for card cancellation or waiver of annual membership fee, the amount equivalent to the welcome gift shall be charged to the cardholder’s credit card account as cancellation fee. The cancellation fee must be paid in full before the RCBC Credit Card may be cancelled by RCBC Bankard Services Corporation (RBSC).
  4. The offer cannot be exchanged for cash, rewards points, or products other than the offers indicated above.
  5. The offer is not valid in conjunction with ongoing promotions or program for new RCBC Credit cardholders such as but not limited to Welcome Gift or No Annual Fee For Life.
  6. All employees of RCBC Bankard Services Corp., RCBC, and YGC as well as RCBC Wealth Clients are not qualified to avail of the offer.
  7. Other Card Types not specified in the promo mechanics are not qualified.
  8. In case of dispute with regard to the customer’s eligibility and availment of the promo, the decision of RCBC Bankard Services Corp. with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final. However, if the dispute involves Rewards Partners and its performance and/or delivery of services and/or products to cardholders, subject to the Promo Mechanics stated above, the decision of RCBC Bankard Services Corp. & Rewards Partner with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final.
  9. All questions and issues related to the promo can be accommodated beyond the promo period but in no case beyond thirty (30) days from the issuance of last SMS confirmation.
  10. The promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of RCBC Credit Card.

REDEMPTION PROCESS

  1. RCBC Visa Platinum Credit cardholders qualified for a Welcome Gift will receive a notification via SMS and eDM.
  2. To redeem the free EVA AIR flight, cardholder has the option to:

  3. Upon redemption, qualified cardholder must provide the notification sent by RCBC Credit Card via SMS/eDM and present a valid government-issued ID.
  4. The free roundtrip flight is only applicable to the indicated destination
  5. Qualified cardholder can only redeem and book his/her free roundtrip flight from September 25, 2024 to April 30, 2025. Travel period is from September 26, 2024 to August 31, 2025.
  6. EVA AIR Tickets are non-refundable, non-reroutable, and non-transferable once ticket has been issued. The upgrade or add-ons shall be shouldered by the qualified cardholder.
  7. All necessary travel documents such as passport, visa, insurance, and other expenses related to the welcome gift any other costs other than the items stated in the promo mechanics shall be for the sole account of the qualified cardholder.
