Welcome Gift for New Cardholders

Promo Mechanics:

1. The Welcome Gift promo is open to all new-to-RCBC Bankard card applicants who applied and subsequently got approved of an RCBC Bankard based on the schedule below:

Extended until May 31, 2022 as approved by DTI-FTEB

2. Qualified RCBC Bankard cardholders must make a single-receipt or accumulated spend anywhere using their new RCBC Bankard within 60 days from card delivery. The Welcome Gift that the cardholder can redeem will be specific to the Card Type and the Spend Requirement, as indicated in the table below:

*RCBC Bankard JCB Platinum cardholders may choose to upgrade their Nintendo Switch Lite Console Blue provided that cost (based on SRP) of upgrade shall be shouldered by the cardholder & payment must be made using the eligible RCBC Bankard.

3. Transactions made by the Supplementary cardholder will be qualified as part of the Primary cardholder’s spend.
4. All posted retail and installment transactions in pesos and in other currencies are qualified for the promo including online transactions, mail & telephone orders and recurring payments or bills payment transactions.
   The following transactions are excluded from the promo: Cash Advance, Balance/Purchase Conversion, YourCash, Cash Loan, Balance Transfer, Mobile payment/mobile wallet (e.g GCash, PayMaya, ShoppeePay, Lazada Wallet, GrabPay, PayPal, PayMongo, Coins.ph, and the like), Casino/Gambling, Money Transfers, Quasi Cash Financial Institution, Political organizations, Bail, Bond Payment, Wholesale & Distribution.
5. To avail, the qualified cardholder must register* once online at the specified link below. Once registration form is submitted, the selected Welcome Gift and/or Branch shall be considered final.

   REGISTRATION PERIOD IS EXTENDED UNTIL JUNE 30, 2022.

*By registering for the promo and only for the purpose of fulfilling the delivery, the cardholder agrees to share his/her NAME, MOBILE NO., and ADDRESS with RCBC Bankard’s courier and/or the merchant partner. Cardholder agrees that, as applicable, the delivery fee of his/her Welcome Gift will be charged to his/her RCBC Bankard.

6. Qualified cardholder’s account must be active and current at the time of registration.
7. Qualified cardholders who have met the required spend amount specific to their card product and who have successfully registered will receive a confirmation or gift code via SMS which will be sent to their registered mobile no. based on the schedule below:

8. The cardholder can only avail of the offer and receive a Welcome Gift once for the duration of the promo.
9. The cardholder will be charged the cost of the Welcome Gift if he/she cancels the qualifying purchase and/or if the credit card transaction or redemption is found to be fraudulent.
10. The cardholder agrees not to cancel his/her RCBC Bankard within 24 months from its issue date. In addition, by redeeming the welcome gift, the cardholder agrees to pay the full amount of the Annual Membership Fee. If the cardholder requests for card cancellation or waiver of annual membership fee, the amount equivalent to the welcome gift shall be charged to the cardholder’s credit card account as cancellation fee. The cancellation fee must be paid in full before the RCBC Bankard may be cancelled by RCBC Bankard Services Corporation (RBSC).
11. The offer cannot be exchanged for cash, rewards points, or products other than the offers indicated above.
12. The offer is not valid in conjunction with ongoing promotions for new RCBC Bankard cardholders.
13. All employees of RCBC Bankard, RCBC, and YGC are not qualified to avail of the offer.
14. In case of dispute with regard to the customer’s eligibility and availment of the promo, the decision of RCBC Bankard with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final. However, if the dispute involves Rewards Partners and its performance and/or delivery of services and/or products to cardholders, subject to the Promo Mechanics stated above, the decision of RCBC Bankard & Rewards Partner with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final.
15. All questions and issues related to the promo can be accommodated beyond the promo period but in no case beyond thirty (30) days from the issuance of last SMS confirmation.
16. The promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of RCBC Bankard Credit Card.

REDEMPTION PROCESS

Datablitz Gift Code or Nintendo Switch Lite

1. Cardholder must redeem his/her Datablitz Gift Code or Nintendo Switch Lite at the nominated DataBlitz branch within 60 days from receipt of SMS confirmation
2. Cardholder must stick to the selected branch during registration which shall be also indicated in the SMS confirmation
3. Cardholder must call DataBlitz Customer Service at the specified contact nos. below at least one (1) working day prior to pick up date to ensure availability of the item

4. Upon arrival at the DataBlitz branch, cardholder must provide his/her name, valid government-issued ID, and the actual SMS confirmation or the Datablitz Gift Code (screenshot not allowed)

Lazada Wallet Gift Code

1. Visit www.lazada.com.ph or download mobile app.
2. In the account screen/page, select Lazada Wallet
3. In the Lazada Wallet, click Lazada Gift Card
4. Input Lazada Wallet Gift Code in the space labeled “Enter Here”
5. Lazada Wallet Gift Code is valid for one (1) year
6. It has no expiry once loaded to the Lazada Wallet

IKEA Gift Card

1. The IKEA Gift Card will be delivered to the cardholder’s billing address on file within 15 business days from receipt of SMS confirmation
2. The delivery fee of the IKEA Gift Card will be charged to the qualified cardholder’s RCBC Bankard Visa. Cost for the delivery is between P130 to P170.
3. The IKEA Gift Card can only be used for in-store purchases

Power Mac Center eGC

1. Cardholder will receive a Power Mac Center eGC via SMS.
2. To redeem, the Power Mac Center eGC must be presented at the counter of any participating Power Mac Center or The Loop branch.
3. The Power Mac Center eGC must be fully consumed in one transaction and can only be used for in-store purchases.
4. The Power Mac Center eGC has no expiry.

Nespresso

1. RCBC Bankard will send an SMS confirmation to a qualified cardholder’s registered mobile no. indicating the delivery address.
2. The Welcome Gift will be delivered to cardholder’s address within 15 business days from issuance of SMS confirmation.
3. Delivery within Metro Manila is free of charge. Cardholders residing outside Metro Manila must shoulder the cost of the delivery (Estimate: P400-P500 depending on the exact location). The delivery fee shall be charged to the qualified RCBC Bankard Mastercard.
4. Redelivery charges shall be applied if courier is not able to successfully delivery item. For Metro Manila, estimate redelivery fee is between P150 to P200 and P550 to P650 for provincial locations.
5. If cardholder is not available to personally receive the item, his/her representative must present an authorization letter and valid government-issued ID.
