QUALIFY

Accumulate the minimum spend requirement for your card tier within the promo duration:

  • JCB Classic ₱30,000
  • JCB Gold ₱40,000
  • JCB Platinum ₱50,000

PROMO MECHANICS

  1. The promotion is open to all RCBC JCB Credit Cardholders (Principal and Supplementary). The account must be active and in good credit standing during the spending and crediting periods.
  2. Promo period: October 22, 2026 to January 22, 2027
  3. Registration: One-time registration is required during the promo period. Click here to register.
    NOTE: Qualified cross-border transactions made starting October 22, 2026 will be counted toward the promotion, even if registration is completed later.
  4. Qualified spend: Single or accumulated foreign-currency transactions (in-store or online) made outside the Philippines and posted within the promo period.
  5. Excluded: Transactions processed via DCC (charged in PHP), quasi-cash, casino chips, money transfers, fees/charges, refunds/reversals, and installment amortizations posted in PHP.
  6. Principal + Supplementary transactions will be combined and considered under the Principal’s account for Shopping Credits computation.
  7. Minimum Spend Requirements to Qualify for Shopping Credits:
      • ₱30,000 for JCB Classic
      • ₱40,000 for JCB Gold
      • ₱50,000 for JCB Platinum

Tip at POS / Checkout: Always choose the local currency of the country you are in (e.g., JPY (¥) in Japan) instead of Philippine Peso (PHP) to avoid Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) fees and ensure transaction eligibility.
  1. Crediting: Earned Shopping Credits will be posted within 60 days from the end of the promo period, on or before February 22, 2027.
  2. Shopping Credits may be used to offset future purchases/billed charges (or as digital e-vouchers if RCBC deploys this fulfillment method).
  3. Cardholders will receive SMS/email notification once the SC has been posted/issued.
  4. RCBC Credit Cards reserves the right to charge back the value of SC for fraudulent, cancelled, or reversed transactions.
  5. In case of a dispute regarding customer eligibility or promo availment, the decision of RCBC Credit Cards, with the concurrence of DTI, shall be final.
