Terms and Conditions
- The promo is open to RCBC JCB Credit Cards whose accounts are active, current, and in good credit standing.
- Cardholders in good credit standing are those with RCBC JCB credit cards which are not reported lost or stolen, whose accounts are not delinquent, not under investigation due to suspected fraud, and those who have not violated any of the Terms and Conditions governing the Issuance and Use of RCBC JCB credit cards.
- Promo runs from January 16 to April 15, 2023.
- To enjoy the 10% CASHBACK, RCBC JCB Credit Cardholders must have a cumulative overseas spend of at least JPY30,000 and a maximum spend of JPY50,000 at face-to-face merchants in Japan during the promotion period.
- There is no minimum amount required per transaction. Applies to straight purchases only.
- Purchases can only be made in JPY. This offer does not apply to purchases made in other currencies.
- There is a one-time cashback per card level.
- To meet the total spend requirement, the Principal Cardholder cannot combine his/her purchases with the Supplementary Cardholder, and vice-versa. It is the responsibility of the Cardholder to monitor his/her qualified spend.
- Transactions of RCBC JCB primary and supplementary cardholders are computed separately which will be credited to Principal Cardholder’s account before August 2023. This will be shown on cardholders’ Statement of Account (SOA).
- RCBC JCB Credit Card must be active and updated (without incurring past due/delinquency) within the promo period and at the time of crediting of the rebate, otherwise, the rebate earned shall be forfeited.
- Rebates awarded are non-transferable and non-convertible to cash, however, it is treated as a credit or payment for purchases or any outstanding balance on the Card.
- RCBC Credit Cards/RBSC reserves the right to reverse or adjust the rebate posted if the qualifying transactions were disputed or cancelled on a later date, or if the transaction is found to be invalid or fraudulent, or a reversal of entry is made on any of the qualified transactions, or if there is erroneous posting of the rebate, or if the transaction was used to register or redeem from another ongoing promo.
- In case of disputes, JCB and RCBC Credit Cards/RBSC’s decision shall prevail with the concurrence of DTI. All questions or disputes must be raised by the Cardholder within sixty (60) calendar days from the posting of the rebate.
- Any amendment in the terms and conditions is subject to DTI approval.
