PROMO MECHANICS

  1. The promo is open to RCBC JCB Credit Cards whose accounts are active, current, and in good credit standing.
    Cardholders in good credit standing are those with JCB Credit Cards which are not reported lost or stolen, whose accounts are not delinquent, not under investigation due to suspected fraud, and those who have not violated any of the Terms and Conditions governing the Issuance and Use of JCB Credit Cards.
  2. Promo period is from August 1 to September 30, 2025.
  3. Cardholders are entitled to 10% Cashback or up to HKD 150 for in-person purchases using their RCBC JCB Credit Card in Hong Kong at these participating merchants:

  1. To earn the rebate of 10% or a maximum of HKD 150 Cashback, Cardholders must use their qualified RCBC JCB Credit Card and meet the following criteria:
      • Purchases must be made in Hong Kong
      • Valid only for in-person purchases at participating Merchant Partners
      • The minimum cumulative spend requirement is HKD 1,000
      • No minimum amount is required per transaction
      • Purchases must be made and posted within the promotion period

Exclusions:

  • Online, transit (airline, cruise, train, etc.), and in-app purchases are excluded.
  • Online transactions with merchants registered/doing business in Hong Kong.
  • Installment transactions via balance transfer, balance conversion, convert to installment, purchase/retail conversion, and similar on-us installment program/s of the issuing bank.
  • Transactions from betting/casino/gambling, money transfers
  • International Cash Advance transaction/s via ATM or over-the-counter
  • Refunded, disputed, unauthorized or fraudulent transactions
  1. The Cardholder can earn a maximum of HKD 150 for the entire promo duration.
  2. All qualified and posted transactions of the principal Cardholder and their supplementary Cardholder(s) will earn a cash rebate and be computed separately. The principal Cardholder's transactions cannot be combined with the transactions of the supplementary Cardholders to meet the total spend requirement. The Cardholder is responsible for monitoring their qualified spending.
  3. The total rebate earned by the Principal and Supplementary Cardholders shall be credited to Principal Cardholder’s account within twenty-five (25) business days after the promotion period. This will be shown on the Cardholders’ Statement of Account (SOA).
  4. RCBC JCB Credit Card must be active and updated (without incurring past due/delinquency) within the Promo Period and at the time of crediting of the rebate; otherwise, the rebate earned shall be forfeited.
  5. Rebates awarded are non-transferable and non-convertible to cash, however, it is treated as a credit or payment for purchases or any outstanding balance on the card.
  6. The rebate cannot be redeemed in conjunction with other promotional offers of the issuing banks (including, but not limited to rebates, discounts, spend anywhere, activation promos, etc.). If found to have multiple availments, RCBC shall have the right to reverse the rebate amount credited to the RCBC JCB Credit Card, at its discretion. RCBC have the sole discretion in qualifying the transactions of a Cardholder based on the mechanics of the Promo. Once qualified, the transaction can no longer be used for another promo even if the said transaction meets the criteria of the other promo.
  7. The exchange rate for the original transaction and the cashback exchange rate may be different.
  8. The transaction amount covered by the campaign is calculated based on the date of use. However, transactions that take time to process sales or transactions for which sales information does not arrive within a certain period may not be counted.
  9. RCBC reserve the right to reverse or adjust the rebate posted if the qualifying transactions were disputed or cancelled on a later date, or if the transaction is found to be invalid or fraudulent, or a reversal of entry is made on any of the qualified transactions, or if there is erroneous posting of the rebate, or if the transaction was used to register or redeem from another ongoing promo.
  10. In case of disputes, JCB and RCBC's decision shall prevail with the concurrence of DTI. All questions or disputes must be raised by the Cardholder within sixty (60) calendar days from the posting of the rebate by RCBC.
  11. Any amendment in the terms and conditions is subject to DTI approval.
