The COVID-19 pandemic triggered a hunger crisis that is impacting an estimated 30 million Filipinos and 10 million of them are children. With the economic recession, this will only go from bad to worse.
Kusina ng Kalinga (KnK) has been feeding children in schools since 2014, but the landscape of hunger is changing. There are more kids going hungry and most of them cannot go to school anymore. So we will go to where hunger is and serve where the children are! KnK aims to start with 10,000 kids in communities that are hardest hit by the effects of the prolonged quarantine such as Metro Manila, Rizal, Cavite, Laguna, Bulacan, Metro Cebu, Cagayan de Oro City, and Butuan City. From there, they hope to reach more but they can only do this with your help.
